María Asencio

Director · Infantil, Junior, Open and Masters

Founder and director of Club Natación Los Cristianos since 1993. With more than three decades at the head of the club, she has trained several generations of swimmers at the Los Cristianos Municipal Pool. She leads the coaching side and coaches the Infantil and Junior groups, as well as Open and Masters, combining the demands of competition with an approach built on discipline, consistency and team spirit.

Agoney Rodríguez

Benjamines, Alevines, Infantil and Junior

Agoney learned to swim in the club's own lanes, so he knows first-hand what it means to grow up at CNLC. He has been part of the coaching team for years as coach of the Benjamines and Alevines, a key stage in which he guides swimmers as they learn the four strokes, improve their technique and swim their first competitions. He also coaches the Infantil and Junior groups.

Fernando Sánchez

Benjamines and Alevines

After twelve years as a club swimmer, Fernando has swapped his swimsuit for a stopwatch to join the coaching team. He coaches the Benjamines and Alevines with Francisco Caamaño, with a special focus on breaststroke technique and speed work. His goal is clear: for every swimmer to reach their best and to take the team to the top.

Benjamines and Alevines

Francisco joins the Benjamines and Alevines coaching team this season, working alongside Fernando Sánchez. He arrives with a very clear idea: to help every swimmer bring out their best, in and out of the water. His approachability and motivation bring new energy to a key stage in young athletes' development.

say

A fantastic swimming club in every way! Our daughter feels completely at home. For her, the club is like a second family, a place where she has a great time, can be herself and keeps growing as a swimmer. The coaches, like Agoney, do an incredible job. Even in the competition team they know how to motivate the children to improve and push themselves, always in a positive way and without unnecessary pressure.

An excellent swimming club! The coaches are wonderful (María, Agoney, Fran, Fer) and patient, and the way they treat you couldn't be better. You can tell there's a great team of people behind it. My son is happy going to every session and we are delighted to be part of this big family. Thank you for all your work!

Joining this club with my son has been one of the best decisions we've made. The sessions are excellent, really dynamic and very varied; in my son's case they work as much out of the water as in it. In my case, the masters group is like a family: you never get bored and the coaches adapt perfectly to each person's level, so you improve day by day. But what really makes this club unique is the atmosphere out of the water. The weekends are amazing: they're always organising trips, days out in nature and group meals. It's the perfect balance between getting fit and having an incredible social life. If you want to train hard but also make a great group of friends and enjoy your free time, this is your place. 100% recommended.

A spectacular, family-like club full of great values. They treat the children with so much affection, dedication and warmth, making them feel part of a big family. As well as standing out for its people, the club gets excellent sporting results, thanks to the work, effort and dedication of the whole team.

More than a club, it's a big family. They advise us and explain things, they guide the kids, and they give them access to a psychologist who helps them face their fears. I only have good things to say about this club.

Every year a new generation comes through, raised on chlorine and values: good athletes who always stand out among the big clubs. We chose a club and it turned out to be a family.
